We suggest users of Windows XP follow instructions to prevent RANSOM DEMANDS ! ! ! ! CRYNA ATTACK. Antivirus and Malware two different type of signature and pattern based software. Mostly people think both are same and so they install and use antivirus software only.
A few steps can prevent this types of attack.
1. Install and update antivirus.
2. Install and update Firewall.
3. Install and update Malware.
4. Install and update Java.
5. Disable or change Login ID for user “Administrator”. Follow some steps to disable or change password.
Go to control panel then choose user account. click on “Administrator” and change password or delete account.
6. Disable “msiexec.exe” new application installation on system. follow steps to disable program installations:
Type ” gpedit.msc ” on run of start menu.
Go to Computer Configurations > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Installer.
Double click and enable options.a new option appears called List of Disallowed Applications. Click Show and a third window appears where you type in the path of the program to be blocked.
C:\Windows\System32\msiexec.exe
Copy/paste that into the space provided in the box and click OK.
7. Disable registry editor.
8. Disable payloader autorun.
9. Download and run port blocker and block all listed port ever port is registered, but not in use.
10. Download port locker and run to secure communication port.
